Amy Tippett

I have been a part of Dr. Frick’s team since 1999, and I truly enjoy helping our patients and their families have a positive orthodontic experience. I believe in making the most of each and every day by keeping a positive attitude and not sweating the small stuff.

I was born and raised in North Carolina and attended Elon University. I live in Burlington with my husband, Charles; our son, Nick; and our two daughters, Lindsey and Hannah. I enjoy spending time with my very energetic family; there is hardly a dull moment. My husband and I enjoy taking motorcycle rides together and going on motorcycle trips with our friends from Uncaged Biker Ministries.

Lindsay Colley

My name is Lindsay Colley, and I started working for Dr. Frick’s office in July of 2002 after completing the Dental Assisting Program at Alamance Community College in Graham, NC. I remain fascinated with orthodontic mechanics and what we can do for people. I truly enjoy seeing our results and patients’ smiles from start to finish.

I was raised in Hillsborough, NC, and then moved ten minutes down the road to Mebane when I married my wonderful husband, Brad. Brad works in construction as a roofer. He and I have three children, Anthony, Tristin and Gracie Ann, who all keep our hands full.

Sports are a very big thing in our household, especially NFL (go Colts!). Some others that we enjoy together are basketball, baseball, NASCAR racing and watching Mixed Martial Arts competitions.

Connie Broadwell

Hi, my name is Connie Broadwell and I joined Dr. Frick’s team in March of 1999. I love helping people achieve beautiful smiles through orthodontics. Originally, I am from Edenton, North Carolina, and moved here when I was in high school. After certification from GTCC, I began my career as a chiropractic assistant. My training as an orthodontic assistant included dental radiology certification from UNC.

My husband, Richard, is the bus captain at our church, Liberty Baptist in Durham, North Carolina, where we are very involved. Together, we have two high-spirited daughters, Alyssa and Abby. Both attend school at Liberty.

I am a HUGE – and misguided – sports fan, especially for Dallas Cowboys Football and Duke Basketball. Go Blue Devils!

Mary Kay Root

I live in Chapel Hill with my husband, Bo, and our children, Bowman,Wade, Hanna and Chipper. Our family moved from Erie, Pennsylvania in 1995 to North Carolina. I grew up in Ohio, where I attended Bowling Green State University.

I have been with Dr. Frick since January 1998. You will see me working primarily in the Chapel Hill office. What I enjoy most about my work is the interaction with patients and parents. I feel our office provides optimal care and I am very proud to be a part of this practice.

Marsha Young

I joined Dr. Frick’s team in 2001, as his Lab Technician. I grew up in Durham, North Carolina and graduated from UNC’s Dental Assistant program. I have tried to bridge the sports loyal divide in our office: I’m a big basketball fan: Duke (women) and UNC (men).
